And while politicians post their shiny manifestos and are strategically photographed out in communities Doing Good, youth unemployment continues to climb, with more than four out of every ten people aged between 15-34 currently not in employment, education or training.
Has any progress been made since the birth of democracy 30 years ago? Are we too far gone to start to turn this around? And will the upcoming elections make any difference?
