#Elections| Gender parity in the political sphere

The Hlanganisa Community Fund has expressed its disappointment regarding tge fewer numbers of females leading political parties in South Africa. The group released its data ahead of the May 29 general elections saying that there are societal issues that affect mostly women than men and it was going to be better to have a female leader who will be better positioned to address that. Nghamula Chauke spoke to Hlanganisa Community Fund CEO Bongiwe Ndondo who said these political parties are not a true reflection and representation of the demographics of the society.
