A magnificent new coffee table book has just been published called Cape Town’s Dockland. It has been written and compiled by the well know shipping correspondent BRIAN INGPEN and aprt from a host of personal reminiscences, it has numerous beautiful photographs, both in black and white, and in colour, of a host of dockland memories, from the iconic Union Castel ships to the hard work tugs, the massive cargo and container ships, war ships and trawlers to the actual harbour itself and its development over many years. Brian Ingpen will be Rodney Trudgeon’s guest on People of Note this week.
