A debate was held on Monday in order to highlight the need to create safer communities in Manenberg. Learners from the area, city leaders, community activists and US ambassador Patrick Gaspard launched a two-month long photo exhibition celebrating the families of Manenberg. In June, this year, 300 learners from Red River primary school in Manenberg had their family portraits taken.
