Western Province earned their first win of the CSA T20 Challenge last night in Potchefstroom by beating the North West Dragons by 27 runs.
Daniel Smith scored 69 to lead Province to 164/5 in their complement of 18 overs.
In reply, the all-rounder Senuran Muthusamy scored 39 not out as the Dragons were restricted to 137/6. Nandre Burger and Dane Paterson each took two wickets for the team from Cape Town.
Meanwhile, tonight the ITEC Knights face the Dolphins in an important game for both teams.
Knights captain, Aubrey Swanepoel, told OFM Sport there is a good buzz in the camp.
