Die Zwicky Transient Facility (ZTF) het C/2022 E3 (ZTF), 'n lang tydperk komeet uit die Oort-wolk, op 2 Maart 2022 gevind. As gevolg van sonlig se effek op sianogeen, 'n kleurlose vlambare hoogs giftige gas wat gemaak word deur waterstofsianied te oksideer en diatomiese koolstof, gloei die komeet se kern 'n helder groen kleur. Die komeet is opgespoor as komeet 2022 E3, wat die derde komeet was wat in die eerste helfte van Maart 2022 gevind is. Die komeet se sistematiese identifiseerder begin met C om aan te dui dat dit nie 'n periodieke komeet is nie.
