KCDrive chatting to South African Singer/Songwriter, John Ellis

Loading player...
'Native' is the fifth full-length studio album from South African Singer/Songwriter John Ellis. On this album of original blues songs, John collaborates with a eclectic lineup of local musicians. The album’s center piece is the song 'What’d You Call Me?', which draws on traditional Zulu maskandi sounds, lyrically asking modern South African listeners an age-old question 'What does it mean to call yourself a South African?' John Ellis is one of South Africa’s most well-known Singer/Songwriters, best known for fronting the internationally-renowned three-piece rock outfit 'Tree63', who won multiple industry awards.
Here he is talking to Brad and SeanJ live on the KC Drive show.
