Family birth orders shape a significant part of our personalities. Firstborns, middleborns and lastborns tend to display common traits across families. It is said that because lastborns grow up in a family with multiple people, they learn social clues and people skills very early in life. The “babies of the family”  tend to be the most free-spirited due to their parents' increasingly easier attitude toward parenting the second (or third, or fourth, or fifth) time around.
