The Department of Home Affairs has announced extended operating hours from 7 to 21 July 2025, giving citizens an extra two hours daily to access services. During this period, offices will close at 18:00 instead of 16:00 on weekdays.
The extended hours aim to assist learners who need to apply for or collect their ID documents over the school holidays.
