Siphelele is the visionary behind Sips Kitchen, a rising star in
South Africa’s culinary scene. What began in 2022 as a backyard
kitchen in Lusikisiki, serving hearty African meals to locals, has
grown into a thriving business with a loyal following across
Gauteng.
In 2023, Siphelele took a bold leap, moving to Johannesburg to
take her dream to the next level. Now, Sips Kitchen is known for
blending authentic African flavors with modern flair, offering
everything from daily meals and corporate catering to pop-up
dining experiences. The brand is all about connecting people
through food, and it’s making waves both in person and online.
Asiphe’s story is one of grit, passion, and a deep love for African
cuisine—and with plans to expand even further, Sips Kitchen is
just getting started.
