OFM News’ agri editor Sabrina Dean speaks to Agbiz CEO Dr John Purchase about the proposal to implement a national minimum wage of R3500 per month announced at the weekend by Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa. Purchase says their first impressions at Agbiz are that the proposed amount is reasonable compared to other figures that had been suggested. He says a lot of consultation will still need to happen:
