NW Police - "Don't spread fake WhatsApp messages"

The North West police have urged residents to ignore and not spread a voice note making the rounds on social media. The voice note states that foreign nationals, especially Nigerians in Matlosana and the vicinity, will be attacked. According to police spokesperson, Sabata Mokgwabone, the message is reckless and only provokes violence. Mokgwabone advices community members to work hand-in-hand with police expose and bring to book all those who are conspiring to commit criminal acts. He also stated to OFM News that at this stage, the province have not experienced any such violence against foreign nationals.
