On The World Show we continue with our feature on ‘Artists that Inspire’, and we’ll be crossing over to Spain to speak to the Cuban-born multi-instrumentalist, Omar Sosa.This piano maestro’s recording career began in 1997 with the release of his first solo piano album. He has since released over 22 CDs as a leader, resulting in five GRAMMY nominations, and he is known for annually performing upwards of 100 concerts on six continents, at some of the world’s most prestigious venues. Omar will be talking to us about his latest and forthcoming albums, and about the role of musicians in healing and inspiring, during these challenging times.
