Our special guest is Durban-born trumpet player, composer and band leader, Ndabo Zulu [Ndabenhle Zulu]. Ndabo started playing trumpet at the age of 11, and in 2002 at the age of 14 he joined The Field Band Foundation, which also offered him his first international scholarship. He later went to the Durban Music School where he learned how to read and write music.
