Just in time for VE Day this week, an Alberta lawyer and business owner with Saskatchewan roots is releasing her debut novel and soon, it will come to Canada! Joanne Kormylo, author of The Resistance Daughter, is seeing her work in print and published in the UK and is anticipating a release here in Canada later this year. She joins Evan to speak about her book and the impacts some of its themes continue to have in Saskatchewan, stemming from the Second World War.
