: These Are Not Minor Truths
Many believers quietly avoid the Minor Prophets — not because they doubt Scripture, but because these books feel intense, unfamiliar, and hard to follow. Yet they are “minor” only in length, never in importance. In this Technical Thursday episode of Let’s Talk with Rocky Stevenson Pastor of Benoni Bible Church, we walk through why the twelve prophets from Hosea to Malachi remain vital for the church today. Drawing from Romans 15:4, we see how God used these books to confront empty worship, expose moral compromise, rebuke injustice, warn against doctrinal drift, and ultimately point forward to the coming Messiah. From Malachi’s fiery warning of coming judgment to the glorious hope of the “sun of righteousness,” this episode shows how the Minor Prophets proclaim one holy God who judges sin, calls for repentance, and keeps every promise in Christ. These are not distant ancient messages — they are God’s living Word for us today.
